DESCRIPTION

New Moms and Dads this workshop is for you! From swaddling, soothing and sleep training to breastfeeding, bathing and cord care, moms and dads have a lot to learn to care for a fresh-from-the-hospital newborn. We've got new baby basics covered in our hands-on workshop. It's also a great refresher for second-time-around-ers. The seminar will increase your confidence as a new parent and help ease the transition home from the hospital. Stephanie Watson-Campbell, a licensed and board certified baby specialist (and brand new mom to baby Liam), will lead a hands-on, how-to seminar on taking care of a new baby and taking care of you!

INSTRUCTOR

STEPHANIE WATSON-CAMPBELL is a trained birth and postpartum doula and a certified childbirth educator with Power of Birth, a premiere boutique childbirth education and doula service center in New York City (www.storkstorenyc.com). Stephanie is also a lactation counselor and aspiring Midwife. She is on the council of the Metropolitan Doula Group, a member of the Brooklyn Doula Group, Lamaze, Dona, and New York Lactation Consultant Association. Stephanie is active in the community by extending her services to local hospitals as well as the private sector. She is affiliated with WIC where she trains moms to educate the community about breastfeeding and provides breastfeeding support to families.
